Everett Real Estate For Sale: 2010 Virgina Ave.

Who doesn't love a brick house? This mid-century cutie pie has had all of the 'big stuff' done (windows, roof, furnace, water heater) and is waiting for you to buy it and put your personal cosmetic touches on it.

  • 2,068 square feet (some of which is in the basement)
  • 2 bedrooms
  • 1.75 baths
  • Built in 1951

Pride of ownership to the max. Look how clean this puppy is. Note the large brick planter and big windows.

Check out the attached garage!

Colorful flowers in the back.

Well maintained yard & nice low-maintenance cement patio.

Classic living room. Yes, there are hardwoods under the carpet!

Light-filled dining room also has hard wood floors under the carpet.

Check out this classic kitchen. Real, hardwood cabinets. Paint 'em and redo the counters and floors. It wouldn't take much to make this kitchen look like one on your Pinetrest board.

Island/breakfast bar. Flyswatter hook.

Both bedrooms have oak floors.

Whoa. That's a lot of pink. Remodel the bathroom but don't ever get rid of that awesome old sink and bathtub.

We love that it has an attached garage. Note the automatic opener.

Tons of potential in the basement. High ceilings. Super clean. TONS of storage.

Bonus room or inlaw's bedroom. Whatever.

What we love about this house: It's a brick mid-century in the Riverside neighborhood! Besides that, the attached garage, potential to finish the basement and recent major repairs (like the roof and windows). We also love that it's kind of a blank canvas. It's totally move-in ready but you can redo the kitchen and floors to fit your style, when you're ready.

The location: Tyler lives in the Riverside neighborhood, not too far from this house. It's charming and full of nice people. Also, being super close to Garfield Park (and everything else, really) is sweet.

Overall: 275k for a good-sized, well-built house with a ton of character (thats had all of the major things repaired) – yes please! Buy it and redo the kitchen and bathroom, finish the basement and it's a really sweet deal.

Mortgage rates are at a 3-year low right now so if you're thinking of buying, now may be a good time. If you were to put 5% down on this house, your monthly payment would be around $1,450 give or take. Talk to your lender for more details. If you don't have one, we can refer you to a great one.

Thank you to the listing agents, Barb & Chris Lamoureux of Lamoureux Real Estate for allowing us to share about this sweet Everett house.
