As a complement to The Intersection of Art + Math, Schack Art Center and Seattle's Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA), invite you to "necessary and sufficient: a dance of mathematics" on Friday, May 4.

The performance was conceived by Katherine Cook, a mathematician educator, who co-curated Art ꓵ Math for CoCA. The pieces from Art ꓵ Math are being featured in the Schack exhibit between April 26-June 2, 2018 and are integral to the dance performance.

Performers for the evening are Corrie Befort, Katherine Cook, Brandin Steffensen, and Aaron Swartzman. 

Doors will open at 7pm with an opportunity to view and learn about the current exhibit, followed by the dance performance from 7:30-8:30pm.
