How did you first get started in your craft?

I've almost always been making art. I did stop for a full 10 years after high school due to depression and thought I had lost all ability to make art until I went back to school at Everett Community College and took a figure drawing class.

I realized I never lost my ability, just my spark. Specifically, drawing live music, I started in August 2016 at a SLAM art & music event at Tony V's and more consistently in April of this year.

Favorite Artist(s) and/or Inspirations?

Maurizio Catalan, Jenny Saville, & I am very excited about all the great bands that are local in this area.

What’s the most challenging part of being an artist, or something you had to overcome?

I am a very private person and I am very tentative about putting my art out into the world. I have to work on that.
