Everett's Best Teriyaki Burger You've Never Heard of

You know how you've been lying awake at night wondering to yourself, "Where can I get Everett's best teriyaki burger for less than two dollars?"

Wonder no more, friends. The Teriyaki & Burger Stop has got you covered.

As Andy Y. from Yelp describes it, "A little shady inside...[and] decore is a little sketchy, but the food was awesome."

Yep. I'd definitely describe the Teriyaki & Burger stop at 3517 Rucker as a hole-in-the-wall type place. Hence the cheap prices. This is one of those 4 stars but only one "$" symbol type places. That's why it's so great. Unassuming, yet delicious.

Their spicy chicken teriyaki burgers have been a guilty pleasure of mine for nearly a decade. Don't even bother asking me what else is good there, I've never tried anything other than their teriyaki burgers... they are that good.

You know a place is good when Santa hangs out there...

I take it back.

They're not that good.

I don't want to set your expectations too high... so don't let me over-hype these little delicious wonders. They're really pretty simple. The teriyaki burgers don't look like much. McDonald's-esque buns, stuffed full of grilled onions, mayo, and... well, teriyaki. Delicious. Easy. And cheap.

Two teriyaki burgers make for a solid meal. Spicy is the way to go (IMHO), but regular is good, too. I think spicy may cost around 10 or 20 cents more than regular, but still, you can get two spicy burgers for $4 and some change (including tax). Not bad at all.

It was fun reading through Yelp reviews of fellow fans. Like this one from Nina W. in Seattle: "Holy s*&#balls, the Spicy Teriyaki Chicken Burger is the jam. No, seriously. It's so simple in it's construction- basic bun, mayo, their delicious, perfectly juicy and spicy teriyaki chicken, and grilled onions, but so complex in flavor. Didn't have cheese on it, i'm glad it didn't. It like, almost blew my mind. Almost."

So that's the scoop on Everett's best teriyaki burger you've never heard of. You're welcome.

And remember when you go, keep your expectations low. You just might be surprised 😉.
