Pandemic Guide to Outdoor Dining
Editor’s note: Updated 8/20/2020.
Yes! Restaurants are back open and we know many of you are excited to eat out again. But not so fast, there are many rules restaurants must follow to keep you and their employees safe. They are only allowed to be open with 50% capacity and tables can seat no more than 5 people. You must wear a mask until seated. Indoor dining is only allowed for members of the same household. If you are dining with members outside your household, you are allowed to eat in outdoor dining areas. Luckily Everett has quite a few outdoor dining options!
As of publishing time, all information is accurate but the rules seem to shift like the sand under our feet these days. We recommend that before you go out to eat, you call ahead and speak to someone for the most up to date information. With changing guidelines, restaurant websites and phone recordings are not always up-to-date.
Additionally, all outdoor seating for restaurants is first come first serve unless noted otherwise. You should still call ahead and also have a backup plan if seating is not available.
Stay tuned for more outdoor dining options as the City of Everett launches their new Streatery program.
