THINGS TO DO IN EVERETT WASHINGTON

BREWER'S NIGHT WITH BONEYARD BREWERY
TUESDAY AT BREWS ALMIGHTY

Boneyard Brewing makes one of our favorite I.P.A.'s and they're stopping into Brews Almighty for Brewer's Night this Tuesday. Do yourself a favor (if you like beer, that is) and check it out!

SCHACK EXHIBIT
DAILY AT THE SCHACK ART CENTER

There's an awesome exhibit at the Schack Art Center right now featuring block prints by local artist Guy Anderson. Admission to the gallery is free. Check it out, more information here.

MUSIC AT THE BALLROOM FEATURING KRIS ORLOWSKI
FRIDAY NIGHT AT XFINITY

Kris Orlowski (who we love) is coming to Everett with the Dusty 45s this Friday night. Tickets are only $15 and it'll be the best music event of the week (in our humble opinion). Check it out here.

FREE ADMISSION TO IMAGINE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
FRIDAY NIGHT AT IMAGINE

FYI parents. There's free admission to Imagine Children's Museum this Friday after 5:30 PM. More info.

EVERETT FILM FEST
FRIDAY & SATURDAY

Everett's very-own homegrown film fest takes place this weekend. If you're into film, we highly recommend it. $50 gets you access both days plus food & drink at the gala on Friday and the happy hour on Saturday. Or, get a day pass and go for one day. More info here.

YOGAMOSA
SUNDAY AT BLUEWATER

Sunday morning means yoga + guilt-free morning drinking (all inside a warm, cozy distillery). We've been to Yogamosa and it ruled. Check it out here.

EAT + DRINK

Of the three grocery stores north of 41st Street (where we live), we've gotta say the Sno-Isle Co-Op is our favorite. Here's a few reasons why we love it.

The staff all (seem to at least) love their jobs and are tremendously helpful. They've always been kind and non-judgmental when answering any questions (because seriously who the heck pronounces quinoa right the first time?).

The bulk section rules and if you figure out how to make it work for your shopping/eating habits, it can save you a lot of money. Don't leave without a couple coconut haystacks BTW.

Their walk-in beer fridge is basically our Friday hangout. Bring a coat!

It's actually more affordable (in our experience) than the 'big box' grocery stores. You have to shop the sales like with any grocery store but we've found that between the bulk section and their organic produce prices, we save money on our grocery bills. One caveat here is the meat selection. You'll pay more for meat at the Co-Op but it's all the locally-raised good stuff and it is worth it. We challenge you to try ground beef from the Co-Op compared to cheap tube-packed stuff you get at most stores. You'll be shocked at the difference in flavor. Also, pink slime is gross.

Their deli rocks. Seriously, try the sesame noodle salad. It'll make your day!
