5 Fast Favorites: Kyle and Kylie From Should We Get Married

Kyle and Kylie are Everett locals who run the Should We Get Married Podcast, a podcast where they bare everything about their relationship with one another. It’s brutally honest, funny and a bit x-rated.

See how the two of them answered below, and check out our interview with Kyle and Kylie from episode 128 of the Live in Everett Podcast.

1. FAVORITE PLACE IN EVERETT TO TELL FRIENDS ABOUT?

Howarth Park

Where urban Everett meets the sea and suburbs, Howarth Park offers a beach, an off-leash dog park, walking trails and a really snazzy people bridge that takes you over the railroad tracks.

Read on about the history of Howarth Park.

2. FAVORITE PLACE IN EVERETT TO GET OUTSIDE?

Grand Avenue Park

One of Everett’s oldest parks, Grand Avenue Park gets a facelift in 2020 with the addition of a pedestrian bridge to take residents to the waterfront with ease.

We watched the million-pound bridge get lifted into place.

3. FAVORITE PLACE IN EVERETT TO EAT OR DRINK

Henry’s Donuts

Open 24 hours, Henry’s Donuts hits the spot in the morning, evening or when it’s 3 a.m. and you just NEED DONUTS. Henry’s is a true gem of Broadway.

Speaking of Broadway, read why we love North Everett’s main drag.

4. FAVORITE ANNUAL EVENT IN EVERETT?

Thunder on the Bay Fireworks

Everett really does 4th of July right, with a parade, lots of activities, live music and of course, the fireworks over Port Gardner Bay. Everyone has their favorite spot to watch the fireworks, and Kyle and Kylie’s are at Grand Avenue Park.

We watched the 4th of July parade one year (and filmed it).

5. FAVORITE HIDDEN GEM IN EVERETT?

The Patio at Sol Food

On a sunny day, nothing beats the patio at Sol Food. The brick buildings surrounding the patio, the decor, the ability to eat delicious food and drink fancy cocktails in the open air… it’s legit. So legit that our own Garret Hunt got married on the patio at Sol. For real.

We ate on the Sol Food patio a long, long time ago.
