WIGSTOCK
FRIDAY AT TONY V'S GARAGE

Fact: It's impossible to not have fun in a room full of people in goofy wigs. Wigstock is the most fun fundraiser (fun-raiser) you'll ever attend. Grab a wig, head to Tony V's and get down to local music with a bunch of other people in wigs. Proceeds benefit cancer patients. Details here.

THE EVERETT FARMERS MARKET!!
SUNDAY AT BOXCAR PARK

HECK YES. The Everett Farmers Market opens on Sunday. Load up on farm-fresh goodness, score mom some flowers (it's Mother's Day, remember?) and hang out next to the water whilst enjoying some ah-mazing tacos from our favorite taco truck, Los Chilangos. We literally cannot wait! BTW, the market is going to be held at at Boxcar park now. More info here.

EAT + DRINK

The April EVVY Awards just wrapped and we're tallying votes for Everett's best burger. Thanks to everyone who voted. We'll announce the winner on the blog this week. Stay tuned!

We stopped in Sol Food this weekend for happy hour. We sat out back on their amazing patio with a couple margaritas and some plantain chips. It was perfect. Their patio on a sunny day makes you feel like you're on vacation in a tropical paradise. Also, we think their 'Sol Sauce' may be the most delicious condiment in the world.

ON THE BLOG

We went on the Hewitt Burger Run and lived so Brad could tell about it. Read it here.

Doug Evans shared about Everett's growing art scene, specifically about the first Everett Pop-up Arts show. Check it.

We hosted an open house on Sunday that had the most remarkable view of the water.
Check out the pics here.

IN OTHER NEWS

We get asked sometimes about who pays for the work we do here at Live in Everett. People often think we're funded by the businesses we write about, or the city, or the shirts we sell, etc. The truth is, we pay for it. We (Garret and Tyler) are Realtors and we've chosen to spend our advertising and marketing dollars here – in hopes to create a useful blog for locals, visitors, and potential residents. We're also working alongside the many other people and organizations who are reshaping Everett and changing the way people think about this great city. If you like what we do here, please consider giving us a call when you're thinking of buying or selling a home in the Everett area. We'll show you as much love as we show Everett. Also, if you decide you hate us, it's easy to fire us 👍. We're grateful for your support.
