Restorative Practices

Principles and strategies for helping friends, families, and neighbors restore relationships

Mary Cline-Stively, Director of Programs at ChildStrive.

The NEAR Collaborative for Action is pleased to present the topic: Restorative Practices.

Trauma and childhood adversity: We understand the science and we recognize the urgency – but what can we do now? This question summarizes a reoccurring theme previous ACEs Quarterly events.

Though we all possess a measure of innate resilience, it is often further nurtured by safe, stable and caring relationships throughout childhood. We can, as individuals or larger groups, restore the relationship and repair the harm.
