Curious about yoga? Not sure what all those funny sounding names mean? Let's break it down for you. In this hands on class, we will cover the basics, origin, and teach you the Sanskrit, and the English version names of each posture. We will identify the what and why of each pose, and we will show you how to safely and effectively come in and out of each posture. Offering hands on help and answering any questions you might have.
The term Hatha yoga is generally used to describe a more static practice, where the postures are taught at a slower pace with emphasis on deep, careful stretching.
All levels are encouraged to attend. This is a great way to start your yoga practice for Spring!
