Four different classes offered; take 1,2,3 or all 4. All on Monday evenings from 6:30pm-9:00pm. Class size for hands-on classes is limited to 16 per class to ensure a quality experience during the hands-on activities.
Pickling & Fermenting**
Learn how to make crisp, tasty pickles along with the art of fermentation. Demonstration and hands-on. Everyone will take home a jar of pickles AND a jar of sauerkraut they helped make during the class.
**Prerequisite to Hands-On Classes
Please note there is a *pre-requisite class* that should be completed before attending any of the three hands-on classes. You should complete the 8-lesson online Preserve the Taste of Summer course offered through WSU and the University of Iowa. Cost for the complete online course is $25.
