Snohomish County Climate Advocacy Meeting

  • Everett Public Library 2702 Hoyt Avenue Everett, WA, 98201 United States (map)

During the past year we've seen a great surge in climate action momentum, from the 100% clean electricity bill, to local cities pledging to use clean energy, to the widespread leadership of young people through movements like Sunrise and the Student Strikes for Climate. What do all these campaigns have in common? All of them involve getting decision makers to do something they otherwise would not have done on their own!

On September 18th join us for a brief session on learning these common advocacy skills that every one of these campaigns will require us to be fluent in if we are to keep up the momentum so Washington continues to lead on climate.
