Wars are won on the back of accurate information. No object better captures this idea than the German Enigma machine. The Enigma’s combination of swappable rotors, plugboard, and differential settings allowed for 107 quintillion (aka 107 x 10^18) possibilities. Visitors will view an original Enigma machine as well as learn how the Enigma functioned, see a demonstration of a simulated Enigma machine, and decode messages with the simulator.
Admission to the presentation is $5 in addition to standard museum admission.
