Growing the Onion, Broccoli, and Beet Families We'll cover the Allium family which includes onions, garlic, and shallots along with broccoli, cabbage, kale, cauliflower, and other Brassicas. The beet (Chenopod) family rounds out the evening as we cover spinach, beets, chard, and quinoa.
