This isn't your normal campaign rally, in fact, we would call it more of a party than a rally. Stop by the Anchor on Tuesday at 5 PM for some local brews and music, including Jr. Geezer and Sarah Feinberg from TELLERS.
BE PREPARED: College Planning: Financial Aid Workshop @ Mariner Library
Figuring out the best college and financial plan can be tough, so stop by the Mariner Library in South Everett on Thursday at 5 PM to get advice from a trained financial aid mentor. Unlike college, this workshop is free.
THEY COME IN PINTS: Pints & Pumpkins @ the Schack Art Center
Grab some friends and get to the Schack Thursday at 6 PM for live glassblowing demonstrations, music from SISTERS, and luscious pints of beer from Scuttlebutt, Diamond Knot, and Lazy Boy Brewing. Tickets are $25 for nonmembers and $20 for members, and include one pint glass to take home.
GIRL POWER: Free Girls in Aviation Day @ Everett Community College
Got a daughter, granddaughter, niece, girlfriend, or whatever ages 12-18 who loves all things aerospace? Bring 'em out to EvCC Saturday at 9 AM for a free day full of hands-on activities, aerospace speakers, and lunch (yum). Registration is required, so get on it.
ARCHITECTURE: Self Guided Historic Everett Home Tour in North Everett
Strap on your walking shoes and tour some of Everett's finest examples of historic houses Saturday at 10 AM. Grab a map and tickets at J. Matheson Gifts or online here.
GO 'TIPS: Everett Silvertips Block Party & Season Opener
The Everett Silvertips kick off their 2017-2018 season Saturday @ 7 PM, and there's a good amount of fun to be had. Catch the Scuttlebutt sponsored block party at Wetmore Plaza starting at 2 PM for drinks, food trucks, live music and family fun. Then, head to the game at Xfinity to watch 'em face off against the Portland Winterhawks.
BTW, it's fill the house for Housing Hope night so a portion of your ticket price will be donated back to the wonderful organization.
TREAT YO' SELF: Everett Makers Market Summer Wrap Up
Grab a snack at Choux Choux Bakery then trot over to the Makers Market Saturday at 12 PM for a variety of locally-made goods made by local artisans. While you're at it, enjoy some drinks and street tacos catered by the fabulous Mazatlan.
