Weekly Goodness

Hello Everett! Here's a dose of weekly goodness.

-THINGS TO DO-

Everett Massacre Memorial
Thursday Evening at the Anchor

Head to the Anchor on Thursday where people will be remembering the Everett Massacre. It's an evening of history, fun, live music, beer, bagpipes and a buffet dinner. Cost is $20, but it's worth it. The money supports Historic Everett and it's sure to be really interesting. More info here.

SNAPSHOTS
Now On Stage at Village Theatre

In the mood for theatre? Check out Village Theatre's Snapshots, now playing. Info and tickets here.

Everett Poetry Night
Thursday Evening at Cafe Zippy

Did you know there's a great poetry night in Everett every Thursday? It's true, we've been a number of times and always dig it. Real people, nice crowd, talented poets. Bonus, it's free! More info here.

Silvertips Hockey
Friday and Saturday at Xfinity Arena

The 'Tips play Friday and Saturday. Friday is Guy's Night so guys get a lower-level seat + drink voucher + hat for $25. Saturday's promo is for veterans. Buy a ticket at this link and the Silvertips will donate a ticket to a veteran. Pretty cool, 'Tips.

Everett Comedy Night: Seattle International Comedy Competition
Sunday night at Emory's on Silver Lake

There's live comedy every 2nd Sunday of the month at Everett's beautiful lakeside restaurant, Emory's. Everett Comedy Night is hosted by our buddy Cory Michaelis. It's always hilarious and makes for a great way to finish a weekend. This month's show is special, it's the first round of the Seattle International Comedy Competition. Online tickets are sold out, but there will be a limited amount for sale at the door. More info here.

-FOOD & DRINK-

Crucible Brewing is Everett's newest brewery. It's great. Read our blog post about our visit here.

We've fallen in love with Lombardi's Happy Hour & Lunch. The pizza, man. It's only $7 on happy hour and Tuesday is 1/2 price bottle of wine night. It's a great deal, a great vibe and great food. If you've not checked out Lombardi's lately, go now.

Bhu-Ping Thai Cuisine is a Thai restaurant we checked out last Friday for the first time. Holy cow, it's good. The owner is a wine and craft-beer buff, so the drink selection is way better than any other Thai spot in Everett (that we know of, so far) and the food is really, really good. The cashew chicken is made with fried chicken, which is genius. It's the new go-to Thai. Check 'em out.
