TUESDAY AT SOL FOOD
Pretend it's not dark, cold and rainy outside. Head to Sol Food on Tuesday night for their famous Taco Tuesday. They have crazy delicious (and affordable) tacos, great drinks and an all-around good vibe. It can get busy, so food can take a while, but it's worth it. Check out their website here.

Saturday Morning at Bluewater Distilling
Head to Bluewater on Saturday for some yoga and finish it off with a stellar cocktail. We'll be there, probably embarrassing ourselves. Namaste. More info here.
THE NUTCRACKER
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AT THE EVERETT PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
Catch some festive family-friendly holiday entertainment this weekend. The Olympic Ballet Theatre performs their annual production of The Nutcracker at the Everett Performing Arts Center on Saturday and Sunday. Get tickets here.
Everett Comedy Night
Sunday Night at Emory's on silver lake
Finish the weekend at Emory's on Silver Lake laughing your face off. We went last month and had a blast. Truly, I don't think we'll ever miss another one of these monthly shows. It's world-class comedy right in our backyard for only $10. Plus, the food and drinks were awesome. More info here.

EAT + DRINK
We tried J Ramen & Sushi, aka 'that new ramen place' last week. HOLY SHOYU it's delicious. It had just opened a few days prior and it was totally on point. The vibe is great inside, the waitstaff is super friendly and the food was excellent. We each had a drink, an appetizer and a bowl of ramen (highly recommend the spicy ramen) and got out of there without spending much (ramen was about $8.50, for example). Rumor has it that it's owned and operated by the former chef from Katana, but we can't confirm for sure. We're going to stop in again this week to gather facts for a more proper writeup. Stay tuned! Last Friday we delivered the Evvy Award to The White Buffalo (they won for Everett's best pizza), and while we were there we made sure to try this highly-acclaimed pizza. It was very good, indeed – very Northlake Tavern-esque. Pizza is a subjective thing, but it certainly was some of the best pizza we've had in Everett. Also, their beer selection was top-notch and the staff was cool. Go check 'em out. Read about them on Yelp, here.
