ALL ABOUT BEARS is the feature Streamkeeper Academy event at the Northwest Stream Center in McCollum Park.

Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife Officer Nick Jorg, who you may have seen on Animal Planet, is going to conduct a very lively and entertaining presentation about Washington State bears. His partner is Colter – a very large Karelian bear dog who helps resolve bear/people conflicts.

After the bear show you will have an opportunity to walk on the Center’s 1/2 mile-long Elevated Nature Trail! This is a fun event for the whole family. Pre-registration is required.
