Juneteenth Community Celebration

  • Senator Henry M. Jackson Park 3302 18th Street Everett, WA, 98201 United States (map)

Our annual Juneteenth Community Celebration is an event that invites community partners and residents, to gather in celebration of when slaves, and slave owners, were freed of the legalized era of slavery.

We celebrate Juneteenth by hosting a community potluck with educational speeches, food, and fun. During the potluck we have various speakers that speak on the origins, and importance of Juneteenth and the end of slavery.

This year’s event will take place June 23rd at Senator Henry M. Jackson Park in Everett. Our theme this year is Community Growth, and we’re looking to raise the bar for participants of this year’s event! Please join us, bring your friends, and come have fun!
