Peter Ali returns to Everett Public Library for a free flute concert, in honor of Native American Heritage Month. Ali will play a variety of Native American flutes, a Mayan style, a Toltec style drone, as well as a Norwegian and an Middle Eastern flute.

He will talk about some of his flutes, who made them and how they came to him. He will perform both contemporary and traditional songs. Ali will also conduct a half-hour workshop on the basics of playing Native American flute. He will make some cedar flutes available for audience use.
