Shantikar creates a mood both meditative and uplifting as they explore Indian raga, kirtan (call and response chant) and world music styles. The ensemble is led by renowned sarod player and kirtan singer, Richard Russell. He is joined by world-class tabla player Anil Prasad and Grammy award-winning woodwind player, Nancy Rumbel.
