Join us at the Flying Heritage and Combat Armor Museum on Tuesday, October 1 at 7:00pm for a night firing of our M4 Sherman. Prior to the firing FHCAM’s armor team will talk about the use of the M4 Sherman throughout World War II and how the museum maintains the artifact today. Furthermore, FHCAM staff will share the true story of the actual Boomerang, for which our Sherman is named, and they will honor Thurman Meeks, a crew member of the Boomerang who was killed in combat on October 1, 1944.
