Join us to continue our work on Thornton A Sullivan Park, working to remove invasive plants to make room for native plants! This a great way to spend some time outside in a gorgeous park, and improve the health of the forest while you are there.
Forest restoration activities: Remove invasive non-native plants such as English ivy and Himalayan blackberry.
What to bring: Come dressed to work outside (rain or shine) with sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle or coffee cup. We will provide coffee, refreshments, and light snacks, plus tools and work gloves.
Youth volunteers: If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please come to the event with a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian. The Green Everett Partnership youth release waiver can be found here.
