Katherine Grace Bond wrote a book 20+ years ago intended to bring racial reconciliation to the world, a children’s book on the Civil Rights Movement, illustrated by the amazing Don Tate. She will come to Artisans to read her book, and celebrate her birthday by crafting Valentine's to send to Helping Hand ministry.

This event is to benefit for Helping Hands - a lovely local organization that helps young ones have a soft landing when entering the Foster Child system.

65% of all of her book sales go to the organization, and you can add to the blessing by donating new and gently used books for kids of all ages to be delivered with the cards created that day. Artisans will also pitch in with donations of books for kids - Let's make this a true benefit to young ones that are having their world turned upside down
