All About Bats

  • Everett Public Library 9512 Evergreen Way Everett, WA, 98201 United States (map)

Bats are highly beneficial to people. As predators of night-flying insects (including mosquitoes!), bats play a role in preserving the natural balance of our environments.

We'll be joined by wildlife habitat specialist Niki Desautels from the Department of Fish and Wildlife, who will share information about how bats move, sound, and contribute to our ecosystem.

Participants will understand how to identify bats in their communities and learn ways to participate in scientific research from their own backyards.
