In this class you will learn about the art of working with leather. All while making a sweet little clutch.

When do you hand sew, when do you use a machine? When do you glue and finish edges? What is "hardware" and when/why do you use it? We can answer those questions and much more! In this class we will go over the basics of hand working leather. We will be going old school and learning the beautiful art of hand sewing leather. No machine required! Design your own clutch and personalize the closure and details.

Students will learn:

  • Cutting
  • Sewing
  • Hardware application
  • Leather specific tools

Students will make a leather clutch using recycled and new materials. Strap is optional. All supplies are included.
