June 11 is a citywide clean-up day. Volunteers are needed to clean up areas in their neighborhoods, monitor dumpsters, direct traffic and assist neighbors with dumping the trash. BONUS: if you volunteer, you get special hours to dump your own rubbish.

Hop on your Schwinn or Specialized and head to Everett station for a fun event Friday at 7 a.m. There will be a bike balance competition, giveaways, safety training, free bike checks and more. The event runs until noon if you’re not an early bird.
