  • Everett Public Library, Main 2702 Hoyt Avenue Everett, WA, 98201 United States (map)

University of Washington Research Scientist Nicole Baker talks about what works in creating sustainable fisheries, and reveals how to identify sustainably caught fish in the grocery store.

Baker received her MS in Biological Oceanography in 2014 from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. Since 2016, she has been a research scientist at the University of Washington School of Aquatic and Fisheries Sciences. Prior to that, she worked for Saltwater, Inc. as a fisheries observer aboard commercial fishing vessels in the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska.
