Bring your family and friends to the Everett Philharmonic’s annual holiday concert! Our music director designed this special hour-long program to entertain and delight both children and adults alike. It’s become a beloved tradition for families to kick off the holiday season.
This year’s concert features both modern and classical favorites: And Musing Awhile: A movement from Barabara Harbach’s colorful orchestration of a poem by Michigan native Jane Johnston Schoolcraft. Selections from The Nutcracker: Incite your imagination with visions of graceful ballet dancers and sugar plum fairies. Emmett Bell: Everett High School senior and winner of our biennial Young Artists Concerto Competition, inspiring you with his youthful virtuosity on trombone. The Polar Express Concert Suite: Bring back all those warm feelings from the 2004 holiday film that quickly became a family tradition. Sleigh Ride: Ring in the holiday season with help from children in the audience.
