You will buy me a light-up artificial rose with a battery pack in the stem. You’ll tell the DJ to play R Kelly’s I Believe I Can Fly.

You’ll rent me skates and get cash back. That way I can get dollar bills for the change machine in the arcade. Because Mortal Kombat II.

Oh, [name of significant other], when did we become so basic with our evenings of Netflix and chill and tagging each other in memes?

I need to be spun around lacquered floorboards on four wheels. I need to eat cupcakes and have lasers shot at me while Mariah Carey sings Always Be My Baby.
