1. FAVORITE PLACE IN EVERETT TO TELL FRIENDS ABOUT?

A Secret Taqueria by the DOL

Todd didn’t mention this place by name, but we think it’s Carniceria Los Compadres. Hopefully we got it right because we love tacos, and we love a good hidden gem.

2. FAVORITE PLACE IN EVERETT TO GET OUTSIDE?

Lowell Park

Lowell is the place to hang, and Lowell Park offers shady spots, a playground and a nearby off-leash dog park.

Read more about the Lowell neighborhood.

3. FAVORITE PLACE IN EVERETT HANDS DOWN.

Forest Park

Forest Park in the summer time can’t be beat. Todd likes to take the kids to the Animal Farm, which is open in the sunny months. We checked out the Animal Farm recently and we gotta say, it’s pretty rad.

Read on about the history of Forest Park

4. FAVORITE ANNUAL EVENT IN EVERETT?

The Police Officer’s Soccer Camp

The Casino Road Soccer Camp is hosted by Everett Police every July. Officers help kids increase their soccer skills and teach them about making good choices, being responsible and connecting with the community by having a positive, productive and healthy lifestyle.

5. FAVORITE HIDDEN GEM IN EVERETT?

The Waterfront

While it’s not that hidden, the Everett Marina boasts a ton of shady places to hang out along its shores, as well as many spots to dine and take in live music in the summertime.

Last time we were at the waterfront we ate fish & chips from a walkup window.
