Everett's FOURTH OF JULY FESTIVAL 2023

Come celebrate Everett’s July Fourth at Legion Memorial Park and enjoy live music, food trucks, a beer garden, and fun for the whole family. The festival starts at 3 p.m. and ends after the fireworks (about 10:30 p.m.).

Here's everything you need to know:

First things first: There's NO PARKING at Legion Memorial Park on the Fourth of July. Everett Transit provides free shuttle service to and from Legion Memorial Park. Uber, Lyft, and biking are other ways to get to the park to enjoy the celebrations.

Check out our getting here page for more info about the shuttle and other details.

2023 Live music

Enjoy some tunes in the park - here’s the lineup for this year’s Fourth of July

Small Paul 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

The Jaws of Brooklyn 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Eden 8:00 - 10 p.m.

Food trucks

Don’t fill up on hotdogs and potato salad before getting to the festival because you’re going to want to save room for food trucks. This year, we have over a dozen food truck options to satisfy your appetite.

Free Putt Putt and Axe-throwing

We've teamed up with PNW Axe and PNW Putt to offer visitors some extra fun in the sun while you hang out at the park. There will be two axe-throwing booths and a full 18-hole putt putt golf course. All play is free, so everyone can enjoy.

PNW AXE Throwing Company is hosting a 40 person single elimination tournament this 4th of July at Legion Park! This is for individuals and not teams. Please sign up below.

Only 40 people will be able to participate. You will be notified if you have been selected to play. You will also be notified if you were placed on the waiting list if there are any no shows. Please show up 15 minute before the tournament so we can start on time!

Fun for kids

Kids in tow? There’s fun for them, too. Imagine Children’s Museum will be at the festival with fun kid-friendly activities. Legion Memorial Park also has a great playground and ball fields. Have a lawn game the kids love? Bring it! Just don’t ruin anyone’s picnic with a stray frisbee, okay?

Fireworks

The city's annual Thunder on the Bay fireworks show is the largest in Snohomish County. Enjoy a stunning 20-minute display over Port Gardner to cap off a memorable Independence Day. The show starts at around 10:30 and there's no better place to watch than from Legion Park.

Holiday Lights Run (Everett)

Save the date - will update once we have confirmation!

Join us for a holiday fun run/walk in the Fir Grove Neighborhood in Everett!

Meet near the Costco gas station.

Every year thousands of cars filled with wide-eyed holiday visitors make the slow drive through the brightly lit Fir Grove neighborhood in South Everett.

Sightseers donate canned food and cash to benefit the Volunteers of America Food Bank. Elaborately decorated homes are between 100th Street SE and 104th Street SE, in the area of 21st Avenue SE. Santa’s donation collection site is on 21st Avenue SE, just past the 100th Street SE entrance to Fir Grove.

Please bring the following:
-food donation (You will need to run or walk with your donation. Or you can drop off your donation before/after the run).
-wear lighted gear, bring a headlamp/flashlight or your favorite holiday lights!

PUD to host holiday light exchange, craft bazaar

  • PUD Electric Building Headquarters (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Snohomish County PUD is hosting a holiday light exchange and craft bazaar at its headquarters in downtown Everett on Friday, Dec. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Holiday Bazaar, which raises money to assist senior citizens with their bills, will be located in the lobby and the lighting exchange in a nearby conference room.

The PUD’s annual Helping Hands Holiday Bazaar took a brief hiatus due to COVID but is back in 2022. The bazaar features a large array of handmade gifts and goodies from PUD employees and other community members, as well as food and other household items. The bazaar helps raise money for Helping Hands, which directly assists low-income seniors with their electric bills.

Helping Hands is an employee-funded and employee-run program focused on assisting low-income customers 65 and older with grants toward their PUD bill. Started by PUD employees in 1987, Helping Hands distributes about $10,000 a year to customers.

In addition, the PUD is helping customers recycle old strands of holiday lights. Customers can bring old lights or a food donation for local food banks to the PUD in exchange for up to three strands of holiday lights per person, while supplies last.
