The EVVY Awards: Everett's Best Burger 2019
Open wide and get ready to chow down on the winners for Everett’s best burger. We haven’t done this award since 2016, when The Soundview took home the gold. Will they repeat three years later? Let’s find out.
In 3rd Place: Ray’s Drive-In
An honorable mention in 2016, Ray’s grabs a podium spot this year. Since 1962, Ray’s has been serving up some of the best burgers and shakes in town. Protip: try their veggie burger. It’s deep-fried and Tyler swears by it.
Watch us eat at Ray’s.

In 2nd Place: Mikie’s
Mikie’s almost won their second EVVY Award (crowned best milkshake in 2018), but fell just short of our winner. Mikie’s has that classic, old school burger recipe down pat. Want a burger with just ketchup, mustard and pickle? They gotchu. Want a loaded burger with a ton of goodies on top? They can do that, too. Don’t sleep on getting a giant root beer in a frosty mug, either.
We ate at Mikie’s, too.

In 1st Place: Nick’s Jr. Burgers & Gyros
They not only have the best gyros in Everett, but now the best burgers. Whether you want something traditional or out of left field (peanut butter burger? Pepperoni pizza burger?), Nick’s has you covered. Congrats to Nick’s Jr. for being two-time EVVY winners (they also won best gyro)!
We ate gyros and burgers there a long time ago.
