Need home renovations or a remodel? Maybe you need someone to pour a new patio for spring? Or, if you’re like me, your house needs to be painted. Badly.
You’re in luck, I know someone who can do all that!
WestRock Construction on Colby is a general contractor specializing in commercial and residential work including in-house painting and concrete services. Formed by Jon Gebow and Brian Lewandowski in 2019, the crew left Lake Stevens for Everett in May of 2024. The move made sense since they do lots of work for Everett communities, including the Everett Housing Authority, Housing Hope, and the Make-a-Wish foundations.
Their portfolio also includes several homes in the Northwest Neighborhood and on Grand Avenue.

They work to preserve the historic aesthetic while making modern upgrades.
Being an active member of the community is important to WestRock so they make regular donations and volunteer at the YMCA, the Children’s Museum, and local food banks. They are also a sponsor and member of the Downtown Everett Association. WestRock has applied to join the new Everett Chamber of Commerce that just formed after the last one closed in 2011. Also, catch them during Sip n Shop events where they meet and greet the community and have snacks.
Last year WestRock finished up a Make a Wish project for a little girl whose wish was for a ramp for easy access into her home. The original contractor left mid-way through the job, and WestRock stepped in to finish. Because Make a Wish had already gone over budget for the phase the project was in, WestRock completed the entire job with whatever budget was left and at under cost. I don’t know about you, but I haven’t met many contractors who would do that. They are starting another Wish project in February 2025 and their goal is to always have one Make a Wish project in the works.
Some local commercial projects include the remodeled downstairs of the Irishman, the Early Learning Center, and Marysville YMCA, including some updates to Camp Casey for the YMCA.

They also have a wide range of larger commercial jobs including the Dexter Townhomes in Seattle that involved a parking garage, and the Lussier Estates in Lake Stevens where they cleared a lot for 9 homes and prepped the site for utilities.
Give them a call next time you have a need for a general contractor; I’m putting them on my list this spring to repaint my home.
