A Spectacularly Spooky Everett Halloween
This story is brought to you by Live in Everett Member, Lamoureux Real Estate.
BOO! It’s no trick, the pandemic is still going on and we continue to adapt how we do things to keep ourselves, loved ones, and neighbors safe. Halloween’s looking a little more promising than last year though, with many more scheduled events. Here’s a rundown of events in Everett:
Downtown Everett Halloween Hunt
Downtown Everett Association has something special planned for you with a free digital scavenger hunt that starts October 22 and goes through Halloween. You’ll need to download an app to complete challenges and each child will get a goodie bag of treats for signing up. The more challenges completed, the more goodies the kiddos will get.
Trick or Treating
10/30 noon to 2 p.m Trunk Or Treat @ Everett First Baptist Church
10/30 5 to 7 p.m. Trunk or Treat @ Bethany Christian Assembly
10/31 noon to 5 p.m. Trick or Treating @ Everett Mall
10/31 5 to 7 p.m Trunk or Treat @ New Life Church
10/31 5 to 8 p.m. Trunk or Treat @ Sonrise Christian Center
If you are looking for good ol’ door to door trick or treating, check out the Treat Map on NextDoor. Your neighbors can add their homes to the map if they are planning to hand out candy or if they have some special Halloween decorations.
Snohomish County Holiday Maps is working on a treat and decoration map too.
Spooky Decorations
Irwin Family Lights, known for their spectacular holiday lights display during Christmas, has decked their home out for the Halloween season.
Make sure you don’t miss the Monster House on Maple in the Delta Neighborhood and Zahn Family Spooks on 16th PL W in the Holly Neighborhood. The Zhan’s have been working hard since summer and have a creepy selfie chair and other spooky stuff in store for you.
