Worth Leaving Town For: Cristiano's Pizza and Salad Combo

Editor’s note: Garret does not seem to eat very much food because he ALWAYS goes home with leftovers. The 8-inch pizza he recommends likely won’t be enough for most all other families so plan accordingly.

Tucked in a nondescript strip mall in central Marysville, Cristiano’s Pizza has been one of our north-end favorites for years.

The parking lot can get a bit busy. Trying to park in not-Costco sized spaces while traffic is headed through the lot to Safeway next door can sometimes be a pinch tricky.

It’s all uphill from there, though.

Everything I’ve ever had at Cristiano’s has been delicious. Although, I’ve probably only ever had one thing- their Pizza and Salad Combo. How could we not? My wife, Queen Esther, and I can split it and it also feeds our toddler. We have leftovers and all for the whopping price of $13.50.

Wait a minute... I just looked at the online menu and they must have lowered the price again since they’re only doing carry-out; now it’s only $9.95. Insanity!

For the combo you get to choose between any of their 8’’ specialty pizzas and full-size salads.

We enjoy the Garden Delight pizza, which comes with red onions, green peppers, mushrooms, basil, artichokes, and zucchini. I know, it kind of sounds like a salad on top of a pizza, but it’s all cooked and melded in such perfect deliciousness.

The salad comes over-flowing on a full size plate completely filled with toppings. It’s the only salad I eat where I have to wonder if I’ll have enough greens.

Our go-to is the Italian Chef salad, which comes with heaps of smoked provolone and mozzarella cheeses, pepperoni, salami, peppers, tomatoes, olives and a house vinaigrette. Although we like to swap the vinaigrette with Italian dressing for Queen Esther and a side of ranch for myself (which also goes great with the pizza).

I was going to share about how nice the servers are, and that they recently remodeled their lobby with a bunch of comfy bench seats for when you’re waiting for a table, but... you know. Covid.

For when table service does re-open, though, their drink prices are a steal. Queen Esther’s wine was $4 and my Scuttlebutt Porter was $3.50. And it wasn’t even happy hour! And those are their NEW PRICES that they raised recently.

This place packs in serious value.

Cristiano’s is simply one those rare unicorn businesses that somehow, just manages to offer the total package. We have so many great spots in Everett, but once in a blue moon, if you ask me, Cristiano’s is worth leaving town for.

Cristiano’s is doing curbside pickup. You can check out their full menu here and order online or pay over the phone.
