Merry Everett: 2023 Holiday Happenings Around Town
From Santa photos to ice skating, tree lighting, and more, Everett is going into full holiday mode. Here are just a few of the upcoming holiday happenings we’re excited for.
WINTERTIDE
When: November 24 + 25, 2023
Wintertide is bursting with glee as Santa lights up the tree in Downtown Everett on Friday November 24. But don’t wait until the 5 pm tree lighting to arrive on site, Santa will be arriving aboard an Everett fire truck at 4:30 pm.
Historic Everett Theatre will be playing holiday-themed movies and music with storytime sponsored by the Everett Public Library.
And in addition to Downtown shopping deals, the Everett Makers Holiday Market will have tons of vendors both Friday and Saturday to help you find that perfect something for all of the special people on your gift list. Not to mention it will be the perfect opportunity to get Santa photos, enjoy cookies and cocoa, and even meet two live reindeer!
ICE SKATING
Starts November 25, 2023
Pacific Ice Community Ice Rink will once again be popping back up at the Everett Waterfront. Open daily starting November 25. Sure, there’s always the Angel of the Winds Community Ice Rink, but that option is also available year-round, and it’s tough to compete with Pacific Ice’s view overlooking the Everett Marina. And the Holiday lights, music, and evolving restaurant options nearby don’t hurt either.
Wintertide Lights at the Evergreen Arboretum
When: All of December 2023
The Evergreen Arboretum is always a beautiful place for a stroll, but especially for the whole month of December as the winding walkways are transformed into a holiday wonderland full of light displays for the whole community to enjoy. Free and open to the public daily. What’s not to love?
Holiday on the bay
When: December 2, 2023
The Port of Everett will be hosting their annual Holiday on the Bay event December 2. You won’t want to miss the remarkable lighted boat parade accompanied by a Holiday Market, Kids’ crafts, a visit from a Frozen-inspired Ice Queen and Ice Princess, face painting, live music, tree lighting, and more.
Again, these are only a few of the fun festivities coming soon to Everett. Visit Everett has a great list and all of the juicy details for you to help spread the merriment in Everett this Holiday season.
