Everett Holiday Giving Guide 2021
The holidays are a time of sharing, caring, food, and comfort. Here are some ways you can donate food, essential needs, mutual aid, and holiday gifts to make sure all of our neighbors have a more joyous holiday season.
Food Assistance
Volunteers of America accepts food donations all year in addition to holding Holiday Food Distribution hours during the season.
Northwest Harvest is an organization committed to food justice and provides services as well as partners with other food-assistance community providers.
Faith Luthern Church serves hot meals to the community every Tuesday (year round) and needs volunteers to prepare food, set up tables, greet and socialize with guests and clean up. They also need help with their food bank.
Farmer Frog will be fundraising for toys and culturally relevant food for families. Stay tuned to their Facebook page for details to come.

Essential Needs
The Village Theater is partnering with WashMasks to bring food, hygiene, house, and art supplies to those in need.
Everett First Baptist Church is holding a clothes drive until December 12th, the same day as their Christmas party.
Cocoon House has created an Amazon wish list for people to utilize this holiday season, and they are always accepting monetary donations
The Bethany Compassion Center has several support programs, including holiday food baskets.
The Red Cross is accepting donations and sponsoring some holiday events in the local area.
Mutual Aid and Shelter
Snohomish County Mutual Aid is a grassroots organization that connects with community members and provides essential services such as transportation and grocery delivery to ensure everyone can access the services they need.
Snohomish County Equity Alliance is an organization committed to providing direct care and resources to our vulnerable neighbors in need of warmth, food, and other basic needs.
Housing Hope is accepting assistance for their holiday programs.
Please also consider supporting the shelter programs we have in our community: Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, Esther’s Place, Catholic Community Services, the Interfaith Family Shelter, and others.
Gift Drives
Hand in Hand sponsors an event where children under 18 receive 2 items - 1 for fun and 1 to meet their needs - and a Christmas dinner.
Christmas House has been providing gifts to Snohomish County children ages 0-18 years for the past 41 years. They can use help staffing their store too.
Everett Gospel Mission accepts donations all year while also offering free items during the holidays.
The Salvation Army has a variety of programs that are active during the holiday season.
Toys for Tots is currently accepting toys at many local businesses in the area, as well as monetary donations through the mail and online.
Domestic Violence Services (DVS) of Snohomish County is accepting donations at New & Again Thrift Shoppe on Grand Ave.
The YWCA has an Adopt-A-Family program where you can donate gift cards to a family in need
Here are a few more very worthy organizations a little outside of Everett.
Seattle Children’s Hospital accepts toy donations as well as items for patients.
The 12 Days of Christmas is where Hopecreek Church partners with 12 local businesses to support 12 local charities until December 17th.
Hopelink will be accepting food donations until December 15th as part of their Stock the Shelves campaign.
Food LifeLine is holding its Season of Giving throughout December.
Based in Seattle, the Forgotten Children’s Fund provides fun and essential items to children during the holiday season.
AAA’s Soap for Hope donates soap to those in need through December 30th.
Homeward Pet sponsors a Holiday Pet Food Drive and Sip and Shop where people can shop with business partners and have a percentage of profits go towards animals.
In addition to food donations, the Marysville Community Food Bank has a holiday toy store where toys, coats, and other needs can be donated.
One Warm Coat is an organization that gives donated coats to children and adults in need.
While they always accept donated items and money, Mary’s Place is also currently having their No Child Sleeps Outside campaign, which lasts until January 2nd, 2022.
