Neighborhood Postcards: Silver Lake
Editor’s note: We teamed up with local artist, Rosemary Jones, to do a postcard for each of Everett’s many neighborhoods. Next up in the Neighborhood Postcard Series: The Silver Lake Neighborhood.
In the 11th neighborhood of this series, we have Silver Lake! The Silver Lake neighborhood is residential and retail, holding restaurants and bakeries, and most popular of all, its namesake. Silver Lake is a spot for class camps and field trips, city events, movie nights and music concerts. The lake itself is surrounded by trails and forests and the lake is always full of ducks. I remember playing there when I was a child, and now my daughter loves it too.
