The library is completely shut down for checking out physical media, but there are what seems like a zillion options online. Download a couple of apps and you can borrow music, comics, movies, tv shows and books of course. You can also learn new skills and even a new language. If you are new to using online media, check out this tutorial

Sno-Isle Library

Even if you have a block on your account for overdue books, you can log on and check out up to 30 items from Overdrive. Options include ebooks and audiobooks, online learning courses, digital magazines, and digital streaming of movies and TV shows with Kanopy and Hoopla.

Schack Art Center Virtual Tour

Travel back in time and check out Schack’s Marita Dingus and Hoa Hong exhibit from February. Take a virtual tour and practice your clicking and zooming to explore the gallery, hot shop, silversmithing studio, store and more.

Here are a few more ideas for kids that will help show some love to your neighbors.

  • Write a fun message for your neighbors in chalk on the sidewalk. How about a hopscotch for those walking by?

  • Post your child’s artwork in your front window for neighbors to enjoy.

  • Do some recycled-art projects and decorate your trees. Make sure to secure artwork so that it doesn’t blow away.

Need a few more ideas? Check out this list on the Everett for Everett website.

We hope you are doing well Everett!  We’ll get through this together so stay home if you can and wash your hands!  🤲 🧼
