Neighborhood Postcards: Westmont
Westmont has some childhood nostalgia for me. I grew up on Casino Road, walking to the grocery store on the corner and bussing to the south end library. While I mostly played in the park of the apartment complex I grew up in, I later discovered Kasch Park and Walter E. Hall Park, both of which cover a huge swath of the Westmont neighborhood. Kasch Park is a hub for soccer for kids and adults alike, which I had to pay homage to in this illustration.
