Best of 2019: New Food & Drinks Spots

Everett scored a number of new food and drink spots in 2019. Here’s a small taste of just a few of our favorites.

Botan Ramen ‘n Bar

Nailing both the food and ambiance, Botan is good. Their pork belly buns are great. Okay, they’re pretty great all-around in general. Not to mention the only place we’ve seen rocking illuminated ice cubes.

Watch us eat at Botan...you’ll be jealous.

Delta Hotel's Venture Kitchen

We don’t frequent local hotels often, but heard that the Delta Hotel’s Venture Kitchen is worth a visit. Some of the crew sussed things out earlier this year and had good things to say.

Check out Delta Hotel’s Venture Kitchen.

Gracie’s Cuisine

This low-key eatery in Everett’s Coolest Strip Mall puts out top-notch Filipino food. Gracie knows her stuff.

K Fresh

Go for the vegan milkshakes, stay for a hot stone bowl of Korean inspired goodness. Vegan and gluten-free options are a plus. The view of the Muffler Man doesn’t hurt either, and we hear they even have a patio open out back for sunny days.

Soundbite Cider

Everett’s first dedicated cidery does not disappoint. Soundbite has loads of tasty fresh cider varieties to choose from and friendly service to boot. Hang there and play some board games, or grab a crowler to go.

MJ Cafe

Full of Filipino-inspired sweets, MJ Cafe may have some of the most decadent crepes and bubble teas around. This light and bright cafe is also known for their macarons.

Rabbits Pantry

Tea drinkers delight, Everett scored its first tea house this year. Rabbits Pantry also makes their own teas. They specialize in organic loose leaf tea that is non-GMO.

Linda paid them a visit.

Umami

This fast-casual spot near EvCC serves up poke bowls and sushi burritos. With quick friendly service and loads of teas to choose from, it’s a great option for a quick bite.

Yum, check out Umami.

C. Vines

Wine drinkers scored a gem in the Northwest end of town at this new neighborhood wine bar. C. Vines lives inside of Cafe Zippy, making it a fun neighborhood spot just around the corner from Grand Ave Park (and a soon to be bridge!). Stop in every Friday and Saturday for their weekly tastings, or go all the way and become a member.

Jetty Bar and Grille

One of the classier joints to open its doors in 2019 is Jetty Bar and Grille at the Everett waterfront. As a part of the Port of Everett’s Waterfront Place development, this new restaurant is just a small taste of what is to come.

Garret and Tyler ate lunch at Jetty Bar and Grille.

That Chicken Place

Chicken. Beer. Wings. If those are your things, That Chicken Place just might be for you. A small-ish restaurant near Angel of the Winds Arena, it’s a convenient place to grab some tots. Add some spice to your life with their Nashville hot sauce… if you can handle it.
