Idyllic Summer Vibes: Welcome Magazine’s Latest Issue is Out Now

I was excited to pick up a copy of the latest Spring/Summer 2022 edition of Welcome Magazine.

You remember Welcome, right? Snohomish Counties first and only luxury magazine that launched in 2020.

I reached out to Welcome Magazine’s publisher, Fawn Clark to talk about the latest release.

"After a long and isolated winter, we seek inspiration, discovery, connection and new adventures. Jump into Welcome Magazine. Find and experience something new, immerse yourself in the beauty and joy that surround us!" Fawn shared.

From picnics on the beach to summer reads by local authors, the latest edition will sweep you away with idyllic summer vibes. Including the featured story, ‘Day Trip Cruising: Fine Dining in Local Port Towns.’ I don’t think my dinghy is quite cut out for the sea-worthy adventures Maryrose Denton’s story had in mind. But I appreciate all of the “summer-getaway” ideas and inspiration all the same; I might just have to add a delicious seaside dinner to my summer bucket list.

Another story that caught my eye, by a name you might recognize - Richard Porter shares a 3 Day Itinerary for the Seaside Loop. I also really appreciated Ellen Hiatt’s piece, “Bringing “Another Breath of Life” to Agriculture,” About farmland advocate Linda Neunzig and some of the amazing ag projects she is helping to bring to fruition around the county.

From the new Fisherman Jack’s and South Fork Baking Companies that will be opening on the Everett Waterfront, to other local and state-wide getaways, Tulalip’s Reclamation of Traditional Areas, the Arts, and so many more great stories, it’s a pleasure seeing our county showcased on the page as beautifully as it truly is.

And I must confess the number one thing I was most excited to see in the new Welcome Mag was our new ad for the Everett Food Truck Festival! The Everett Food Truck Fest is coming back once again in partnership with the Upper Left Beerfest and Everett Makers Market. So make sure you mark your calendar for August 13!
